What Patients Need to Know

No one wants to be a patient in a hospital. It's difficult to be away from the familiar surroundings and comforts of your home. At Anderson Regional Medical Center, we do everything possible to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible. We know that sometimes it's the smallest things that can make you feel better and aid in your recovery.
For example, if you would like an extra blanket or pillow, your nurse will be happy to provide them.
You can also expect that your room will be thoroughly cleaned once every day. Members of our housekeeping staff will come in between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. If you were out of your room when we cleaned, your housekeeper will leave a card to let you know we were there. If we missed something or you need additional services, don't hesitate to tell your housekeeper or notify the housekeeping supervisor by calling 6196.
We also have a wonderful staff of volunteers who can provide magazines and books and make purchases in the Anderson Pharmacy/Gift Shop and in our Cafeteria. The volunteers are available Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please call 601-553-6392.
